PRIVACY POLICY

At SCRIBE MEDICAL S.R.L., we are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy and personal data. We understand the importance of safeguarding your personal information and take our responsibility to protect it very seriously.

This Privacy Policy describes the information that SCRIBE MEDICAL S.R.L. collects about you, how we use and protect that information, and the choices available to you regarding the use of your personal data.

We recognize that privacy protection is an ongoing responsibility. Therefore, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to periodically review our website at https://www.mediculonline.ro to ensure that you are aware of and agree with any changes.

1. WHO WE ARE

SCRIBE MEDICAL S.R.L. is a company incorporated and operating under the laws of Romania, with its registered office at Bdul. Mircea Eliade 16 B Bl. T3 Et. 17 Ap. 17.1, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, Tax Identification Number (CUI) 51912052, registered with the Bucharest Trade Register under registration number J2025039821006, email address info@mediculonline.ro, telephone number +40 371 513 741 (hereinafter referred to as “SCRIBE MEDICAL”).

SCRIBE MEDICAL provides telemedicine services, including general and specialist medical consultations through a secure online platform that enables individuals (“Users,” “Patients,” or “Clients”) to communicate with licensed physicians and qualified healthcare professionals from various medical specialties.

These Services are available for both scheduled consultations and on-demand (instant) consultations, depending on the availability of physicians and healthcare professionals and the preferences of the Patient.

Through its website and the associated online platform (collectively referred to as the “Website”), SCRIBE MEDICAL provides the following Services (the “Services”):

Scheduled Consultations

Patients may schedule a consultation for a mutually agreed date and time. The physician or healthcare professional will conduct the consultation remotely using audio and video communication technologies, depending on the medical specialty and the nature of the consultation.

Instant (On-Demand) Consultations

Patients may request an immediate consultation and be connected with an available physician or healthcare professional, subject to availability at the time of the request.

Following any type of consultation, the physician or healthcare professional may provide one or more of the following services:

Health Assessment

The physician or healthcare professional will evaluate the Patient’s symptoms and medical history, provide therapeutic or preventive recommendations, and, where appropriate, prescribe treatments or medications in accordance with applicable healthcare legislation.

Issuance of Electronic Prescriptions

Where medically appropriate, the physician may issue electronic prescriptions for prescribed medications, which may be used at participating online or traditional pharmacies.

For the avoidance of doubt, prescriptions reimbursed by the Romanian National Health Insurance House (CNAS) are not currently issued through the Platform.

Referral for Additional or Emergency Medical Investigations

Where an online consultation cannot adequately replace an in-person medical examination or where an emergency medical condition is suspected, the Patient will be advised to seek immediate evaluation at an appropriate healthcare facility for an in-person assessment.

Medical Advice and Preventive Recommendations

The physician or healthcare professional may provide advice regarding lifestyle, nutrition, physical activity, and disease prevention based on the preliminary assessment performed during the online consultation.
